Festive Gingerbread Flavour Joins the Myprotein Layered Bar Line-Up
The Myprotein Layered Bar has been a staple of the supplement giant’s functional snack line-up for several years now.
Packing 20g of protein into six irresistible layers of different tastes and textures, it’s one of our favourite bars on the market.
As something of a flagship product, the jacked treat is usually one of the first in line for fun flavour drops.
The current roster includes a Salted Caramel in collaboration with Hotel Chocolat, White Gold, and the inventive Chocolate Peanut Pretzel.
To match the return of chillier temperatures, Myprotein has injected a seasonal twist into proceedings with the launch of Gingerbread.
Arriving in plenty of time for Christmas, the limited-edition Myprotein Layered Bar variety doubles up as an autumnal treat and winter warmer.
It features the same solid 20g of protein as the base, while keeping carbs moderate and sugar at a more than reasonable 2.2g.
The protein itself comes from a blend of milk protein, soya protein nuggets, and whey powder — all complete proteins featuring the 9 essential amino acids.
Myprotein hasn’t said exactly how long the Gingerbread flavour will be sticking around for, but we do know it’ll feature in the brand’s annual advent calendar, which is already live for preorders.
