Summer Shredding Houston 2026 is taking place on Friday, September 18th, giving athletes one more chance to qualify before the Championship the next day.

Held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, this show comes right before the main Summer Shredding Championship on Saturday, September 19th.

Summer Shredding Houston 2026 will feature the same nine divisions as the other Summer Shredding events, covering transformation, physique, bodybuilding, bikini, wellness and figure.

The divisions are Women’s Transformation, Men’s Transformation, Men’s Fit Physique, Women’s Bikini, Men’s Physique, Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Physique, Women’s Wellness, and Women’s Figure.

That means there’s a proper mix on stage, from Transformation competitors showing their progress to physique and bodybuilding athletes looking to qualify for the Championship.

One last qualifier before the Championship

This Houston show is the final qualifier before the Summer Shredding Championship on September 19th, so there’s a lot riding on it.

Houston will also host Summer Shredding shows earlier in the season on Saturday, June 13th and Saturday, June 25th, with each event building towards the main Championship in September.

By the time the September 18th qualifier comes around, athletes will be right at the final hurdle, with one more chance to earn their spot on the Championship stage.
