Without any guidance for 9 months following a full ankle replacement I was struggling to walk. On my first visit to see Andy he assessed the ankle and identified the problems. With his massage and manipulation my ankle started to move much better and finally I felt I was beginning to move in the right direction. With each appointment I gained more movement and I now have a much better walking pattern.

At 77 years of age I feel fortunate to have found such a professional and skilled physiotherapist. I would certainly recommend Andy Jeffries to those who may have an issue.

Couldn’t recommend Andy highly enough- really considers your goals and aims but in conjunction with your life. Makes training enjoyable as you see results quickly but he ensures it fits with everyday commitments. Focussed and personal service- absolutely top class! ????

I (and my sports mad sons) myself would recommend Andy to anyone with a sports injury, rehab or just wanting to get fit in mind and body. Andy not only provides upto date rehab services in a great environment, but also much needed after care advice and support. Got me back to sport in no time and onto a healthy lifestyle.

I have specific medical issues which hinder my health and I struggle with any form of exercise. However, I have been training with Andy and he has helped me so much, knowing exactly what I can and can’t do, he has been a god send and I would recommend him totally

Andy has been an excellent coach in our 1-2-1 PT sessions, both in person in the gym in Manchester and in online sessions. I'd never even heard of a kettlebell before working with Andy, and had certainly never lifted weights in the gym, but I now have the confidence to practice good form and keep my fitness up to supplement our sessions. If my old muscles ever get strained, he's also there with physio treatments and tips. Highly recommended.

I was part of the 6 week strength and conditioning programme. As a complete beginner it was great being part of a small group learning how to use the weights correctly. I am no longer intimidated or embarrassed in the gym and have implemented weight training into my workouts. I have now got back into going to the gym as it is so much more enjoyable! Thank you Andy and Pro-Balance Health!

I've been doing Andy's strength & conditioning circuit class for a number of years now, and it has improved my strength and fitness enormously, and has really helped me with running, cycling and avoiding injuries. The classes are designed to continously push what you can do week on week, with plenty of advice and motivation from Andy

I have known Andy for nearly a year now. He rather foolishly took me on to train me for the BUPA Manchester 10k! I could not have done it without him.

His enthusiasm for everything he gets involved with is incredible. He just oozes confidence and personality and is always so passionate about his work. Andy is a fantastic personal trainer and is very enthusiastic and certainly motivated me to exercise which is a feat in itself!

He is a master at making people feel at ease when in his company with his very down to earth approach and what he doesn't know about personal training, exercise and nutrition is not worth knowing.

Andy is a superb & really knowledgable personal trainer. Am thrilled with how my all round fitness has progressed. Classes are enjoyable & friendly. Each block of classes is so well put together, progressively pushing you until you achieve easily (well more easily!) what was tough just a few weeks ago. He’s able to give targeted advice on the specifics that will really help you.

Andy is an excellent and enthusiastic PT. He instinctively knows what you need to work on and also recognises your limits, but then works on pushing those boundaries.

I went to Andy after having a knee issue whilst running. He quickly diagnosed the problem and then underwent a thorough physical therapy plan with me, with both soft tissue work, assisted body weight movement and exercises to complete at home. He was realistic about my goals and worked with me to get me back to fitness. Really impressed with his professionalism, personal, friendly manner and attention to detail. Made going to see him really enjoyable, even if the rehab was painful!! Would recommend to anybody who needs a some attention with a sports injury.

When I first started with Andy, my goal was simple. I just wanted to get fitter so I could keep up with the kids & enjoy racing round after them. I could have joined a gym for this, but with 2 young kids I know that it would be just too easy to find an excuse not to go. With Andy there are no excuses, he helps keep me motivated and makes me feel that I can do it. I never cancel a class unless I'm ill, I've gone when I've only had a few hours sleep and still managed a good work out, there is no way I could do that alone. I enjoy my time with Andy and I am achieving my goals of increasing my fitness and strength, I would definitely recommend giving Pro Balance a try!
