We all know that feeling at 4 pm when the afternoon slump begins to hit. Instead of reaching for a sugary snack to satisfy your cravings, why not try a pack of Prodigy’s tasty new, all-natural biscuits?
Prodigy
Prodigy’s slogan ‘Eat no Evil’ perfectly sums up its approach to food. The brand makes healthier versions of our favourite snacks which are just as (if not more) tasty but SO much better for you!
The brand is passionate about creating real chocolate, with natural ingredients full of flavour, that’s good for your body and mind. They’re revolutionising snacking by crafting velvety smooth chocolate made from cacao, coconut sugar and oil. They also add natural fibres, such as lucuma and inulin, so they’re bursting with vitamins and great for your gut as well!.
Prodigy also believes that future generations deserve better, so are committed to sustainability. This means carefully sourcing ingredients that don’t have a huge carbon footprint and wrapping each snack in plastic-free, compostable packaging that won’t end up polluting the ocean.
Products in the brand’s range include:
- Their signature ‘Chunky’ Chocolate bars – available in Original, Orange, Roasted Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt
- Peanut Caramel and Coconut ‘Cahoots’ bars –
- The Salted Caramel Chocolate Egg – a vegan chocolate egg with a salted caramel heart
- Their new ‘Phenomenom’ biscuits
Prodigy Phenomenoms
Prodigy’s new ‘Phenomenom’ biscuits are here to make all our crunchy dreams come true. Made with a crisp and crumbly biscuit base, sprinkled with a kiss of salt and covered in smooth, cacao-rich chocolate. They’re deliciously dunkable yet contain plenty of good-for-gut fibre and only half as much sugar as standard chocolate biscuits!
The biscuits are available in two classic variations: Chocolate Digestives and Chocolate Oaties (which are essentially hobnobs but just a little more healthy!). Both types contain no refined sugar or palm oil, are 100% plant-based and are made using natural ingredients. For example, their chocolate is made by blending South American cacao with raw coconut sugar to create what they say is a ‘unique and delicious combination.

The Verdict
I thought the Phenomenoms were absolutely great and definitely up there with some of the best biscuits I’ve tasted. As a fan of dark chocolate and that classic ‘oaty’ texture and taste, I actually much preferred them to the classics.
Realising that each pack contains 4 biscuits was an unexpected but welcome surprise and they certainly satisfied my mid-afternoon cravings for an indulgent tea-time treat. The fact that they are actually good for you is very much a bonus!
(I also tried their chocolate bar and egg which I loved and would highly recommend giving a try)
