In a knockout move, 247 by Represent is launching a capsule collection featuring some collab pieces with Everlast. The 247 Boxing x Everlast collaboration is part of the new 247 Boxing range, which aims to celebrate the worlds of both boxing and fashion.
The new collection hits Represent’s website at 8pm on Wednesday 15th May, having launched in store at Flannels X on the 11th with an event that saw industry insiders and fashion fans taking on boxing-inspired workout classes.
Fashion has been a big part of the boxing world since Muhammed Ali first floated like a butterfly out of the ring and in front of the camera for spreads in magazines like GQ. But you can trace the sport’s modern merging with the world of fashion to one man in particular. Imtayaz Qassim. The Welsh designer and owner of label ‘Bespoke Boxing’ has been making outfits for boxers including Joe Cordina, Francis Ngannou, and Tyson Fury since 2017.
Qassim’s eye-catching looks have caught the attention of the fashionistas, and the trend for boxing-inspired looks has now made its way to British luxury streetwear with the launch of Represent’s new 247 Boxing range. The man himself has even had a hand in the making of the range, creating both the Boxing Shorts and Robe that feature in the collection.
So what can you expect to find in the 247 Boxing X Everlast line?
The collection includes 24 pieces, with an exclusive 8-item capsule range developed alongside Everlast. The collab is the perfect fusion of Everlast’s boxing heritage and Represent’s style, fit, and fabrics.
With hoodies, t-shirts, tanks, sweaters, and shorts, the 247 Boxing collection has a bit of something for everyone, with each piece a nod to the boxing world.
The hoodies and tees in the collection showcase a new heavyweight fleece jersey, and have a more cropped body and boxy fit than other similar 247 pieces. They also boast four unique graphic prints: the Represent 247 Gymnasium cracked style, the 247 Training Camp puff print, 247 Vs The World cracked print, and the poignant On His Shoulders cracked graphic.
These graphics also feature on the leg of the Jersey Shorts and Track Jacket, perfectly pulling the whole collection together.
