Family-Run Business
We love the fact that RE:DO is a small, independent, family-run business. It was founded by Swedish couple Pierre and Linda Johnsson, after they struggled to find suitable protein bars and shakes for Pierre (a former pro ice-hockey player) that weren’t made with dairy or nuts.
After getting tired of searching for a product that just didn’t exist they decided to make their own, partly so they didn’t have to cook up oatmeal and eggs each morning for breakfast! And while the business is growing the couple are still keen to stay true to their roots. Linda describes RE:DO as, “a very small family business”, and also explains that “we try to keep the production as close to us as possible, to guarantee the quality. Our bars are produced in Gothenburg in Sweden, and our drinks are produced in Germany”.
