It’s a sad series of events when a personal trainer feels discriminated against due to the music choice of the gyms management but that’s what happened to 64 year old PT, Fitzroy Gaynes as he fails to sue Third Space Gym, Soho.
The case was dismissed twice by the gym management and was eventually taken to court as Fitzroy Gaynes felt discriminated against due to the music choice of the management which was always ‘music that has been released or re-mastered in the last 19 months’. The PT also raise a grievance alleging bullying, harassment and age, race and sex discrimination following an investigation into his attitude to work.
My Gaynes at the age of 64 felt discriminated against as he did not go out clubbing and was older than all of the other staff working at Third Space Gym, Soho. After airing his issues in court it was quickly dismissed by the judge who deemed “It is sad that Mr Gaynes, at a late stage in his illustrious career, should find himself expending great emotional energy on recriminations and bitterness”.
