Adam Collard and Paige Thorne were brutally dumped from Love Island, just one day before the final on Monday.
The geordie was sent packing after he and Paige, 24, were voted the least compatible of five couples by their fellow islanders in what was a scathing condemnation of their relationship. Adam, an online personal trainer, influencer and gym director at Aurora Athletic, returned to the island this year to “ruffle a few feathers”.
In his time away, he also founded Sculpt Fitness, which describes itself as “Newcastle’s number one base for functional fitness and results” and also offers training guides in the form of e-books.
Describing his passion for fitness on his website page, Adam Collard writes: “Since catching the gym bug, racking up thousands of PT hours and then opening my own gym in the space of three years, I have gained a hell of a lot of knowledge when it comes to getting people to reach their very own personal goals.”
The Lothario of Season 4, he had gained himself a bad-boy reputation for coupling up with four different women in two weeks during the competition in 2018. Before entering the show, Adam already boasted more than 900,000 followers on Instagram. But since he returned, that figure has rocketed to clear of 1.1million.
Dropped in the mix by producers as their marquee bombshell, Adam was in incredible shape as he entered the show. Owing to his previous antics, the 26-year-old adonis was expected to get up to his old tricks with the ladies but settled with the Welsh paramedic relatively quickly.
While everything seemed to be relatively rosy between the pair, there was the odd moment of doubt cast, especially when 23-year-old Brazilian Nathalia Campos tested his resolve.
Paige’s parents also questioned their relationship as the contestant’s families were given a chance to speak to their loved ones ahead of the final, and ultimately, the other islanders shared the same concerns. Since leaving the villa, things seem to still be burning bright for the duo – despite all the doubts.
Adam revealed in the comments section of one of his recent Instagram posts that he was meeting up with Paige for the first time since they parted after leaving the show. The ITV2 favourite could be seen flexing his washboard abs in the snap, as he stood in the mirror with just a towel around his waist.

“Don’t call it a comeback,” the caption said, before heading to the comments to respond to some of his more inquisitive fans.
“Are you and Paige still together?” one had asked, to which he replied: “I bloody hope so as I’m seeing her tomorrow. Course we are.”
He followed up by saying: “I can’t wait, but family comes first.”
Italian-stallion Davide Sanclimenti and Turkish beauty Ekin-Su Culculoglu have been crowned champions, and have now arrived back in the UK after jetting home from Mallorca following their eight-week stint in the villa.
