After 5 years together, Gymshark and Obi Vincent have parted ways due to “I just wasn’t fitting in the image that Gymshark want anymore” and “my page has not been doing so well on Instagram” as claimed by Obi in his recent vlog.
Ever since the inception of Gymshark they have been infamous for finding the best talent in the social media world and instantly signing them up to its athlete/ambassador program to help promote all of its latest product launches and representing them at events.
Contracts with huge brands like Gymshark can be incredibly lucrative for fitness influencers with 6-7 figure yearly earnings from flat fee payments and commission per sale earnings.
In an emotional vlog, Obi Vincent sat down 1-1 with the camera and explained how he’s been feeling and what his future plans are which include stopping vlogs entirely and concentrating solely on fitness videos that have higher engagement and views.
Obi is definitely seen incredibly down in his vlog and takes full blame for being too complacent and just thinking of taking a break completely from it all.
All we can say is to keep your head up Obi. Gymshark is awesome but there are (sorry pun incoming) plenty more fish in the sea! Your videos are awesome, we love your vlogs, your personality shines through and you look incredible. Sometimes the worst moments create the biggest opportunities.
