English singer-songwriter and man-of-the-moment Tom Grennan has shown us how he builds his body with a heavy-duty barbell workout. Teaming up with revered fitness magazine Men’s Health, the Tom Grennan Workout has the cheeky 27-year-old heartthrob walking fans through his go-to routine, sharing tips along the way on how they can perfect their form and squeeze the most out of each rep. 

He may not be a personal trainer by trade but he certainly picked a solid exercise to start. Kicking off proceedings with the deadlift, the singer of ‘Little Bit of Love’ displayed perfect technique as he exploded into each rep.

Next on the set menu were tuck-ups. Great for the lower and upper abdominals, Tom showed Twitter how to set your abs alight – even adding weight to take the challenge to the next level. 

Now I know a lot of you out there like to cheat on leg day, but unless you want to end up disproportionately built then follow Tom’s advice and add some squats into your sessions. 

But while the legs do require a good amount of attention, you also need to show your upper body some love. And that’s why the London-based star chucked the overhead shoulder press into the mix for good measure. 

Last but not least Tom took Men’s Health readers through how they can execute the perfect burpee for one final burnout. 

I think it’s safe to say he’ll be ready to strip off on stage at the summer festivals if he keeps training like that!
