Does Anthony Joshua Stand A Chance Against Tyson Fury?

Not according to Fury’s trainer! Anthony Joshua has been told he stands no chance against Tyson Fury, with Fury’s trainer boldly labeling his fighter as “unbeatable” ahead of their potential world title bout.

His comments come after Joshua’s performance during the Day of Reckoning’s main event, which was nothing short of impressive. He reclaimed his top form with a dominant victory over Otto Wallin, securing a fifth-round stoppage in Riyadh. This victory initially hinted at a highly anticipated matchup between Joshua and Deontay Wilder. However, that dream was dashed when Wilder suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of Joseph Parker.

Now, the boxing world eagerly awaits the possibility of a world title fight featuring Joshua and either Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk. These two formidable fighters are slated to battle for the undisputed world heavyweight title on February 17.

In the meantime a fan’s tweet comparing Joshua’s victory over Wallin to Fury’s triumph over the same opponent has sparked a heated debate. Fury’s trainer, Andy Lee, defended his fighter vehemently, emphasizing that winning fights often boils down to timing and expressing unwavering confidence in Fury’s abilities.

Fury’s upcoming bout against Usyk marks his return to the ring after a contentious victory over Francis Ngannou. Joshua, who will be in the audience for the New Year’s blockbuster event, shared his thoughts, leaning toward Usyk but acknowledging the top-tier skills of both fighters.

As the boxing world remains divided in its predictions, all eyes are on the showdown between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, with Joshua himself commenting, “I think it’s gonna be a really, really good fight. I’m going to be straight up, I’m leaning towards Usyk, but who knows?”
