Düng protein bars
Düng is a relative newcomer to the world of protein bars, but they’re already starting to make waves with their great-tasting bars and feel-good mission of helping to end child hunger. Oh yes, this is a brand with big plans to make a big difference to the world, aiming to help feed 1 million children a year. Now that’s something we can really get behind.
But what about the products themselves? Well, they’re kind of big and bold too, with some unique flavours that make them stand out from the other protein bars on the market.

Now, I’ve had Chocolate and Raspberry flavour protein bars before, but the other 2 flavours? They’re new to me, and they’re both absolutely stunning. They’re quite adult options, with the addition of Bourbon and Gin flavours, which is definitely something different from the other bars out there. I’ve been enjoying these as a protein-packed treat in the evening, instead of reaching for a calorie-packed chocolate bar. And strange as it might sound, they’re also a pretty decent alternative to a cheeky drink in the evenings if you’re trying to cut back on your alcohol intake!
Having tasted all three flavours I think my favourite is the Vanilla, Bourbon, and Fig, but I would recommend picking up the taster pack to try them all for yourself to find your own favourite. So what do you actually get for your money with these bars? Well, each 50g bar packs in 12g of protein and 8g of fibre, making them a really solid choice for muscle building and keeping hunger at bay. They’re made with peanuts, almonds, flaxseed, dark chocolate, and a dash of agave syrup for sweetness, and they have a great texture with bits of crunch thanks to the addition of pea protein crisps.
Düng protein bars are also vegan-friendly, low in sugar, and high in fibre – which is great for someone like me who’s always on the move and mindful about their diet. And as an added extra, these bars also have 8g chicory inulin which is known for its benefits in normal bowel function – great for those in the know about how important gut health is!
