With Reebok stepping aside Dwayne Johnson’s Project Rock sneaker signs UFC partnership deal which means every athlete entering the cage will officially endorse this sneaker line.
After Reebok and the UFC parted ways and Venum stepping in to be the official clothing partner it was always going to be interesting to see who got this big deal. We should have known it would be The Rock due to his appearances ringside at the fight’s and his special introduction for the Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal BMF title fight.
Under Armour which was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank has been a staple in the sports clothing industry with their items being a fan favourite due to the high quality, low price and celebrity endorsements. The Rock who has almost 300Million IG followers, block buster movies, TV shows and even a Tequila business was the perfect fit to collab with this brand due to his Iron Paradise way of life where he trains at 4am no matter what. So far their clothing has been a big success and the footwear is set to be their leading item by summer 2022.
