The two strongman foes have battled in the strongman arena for the last decade which has created constant hate and tension between the pair. This escalated when Thor Bjornsson set the new deadlift world record of 501KG during covid in his home gym which was of course previously set by Eddie Hall in 2016 when he lifted 500KG in the sold-out arena.
A 7 figured contract was offered which was accepted by both camps. Training instantly started with Eddie showing off his new home gym, training partners and current incredible cardio. Thor on the overhand was more secretive but did partake in an exhibition bout vs Steven Ward which in the end did not tell us much about his boxing ability.
The date is set for September 2021 and the location is Las Vegas Nevada. The location and exact date have yet to be confirmed but here at Gymfluencers we will be eagerly watching for updates.
