Prime. I could just end it there. Most people on earth have heard of Prime by now, but if you haven’t, let me lay it out for you. Prime Energy is the brainchild of social media megastars KSI and Logan Paul, and is very recognizable as the most sought-after drink, probably in the world right now.
According to advertising, Prime is the healthy and tastier alternative to Powerade and Gatorade, available in 6 flavours including Lemon and Lime, Tropical Punch, and Metamoon…don’t ask, I have no idea. It was only available in Asda for a long time, this has now moved onto Aldi, Spar, and the big superstores in the US. The reason it’s become so well known is the re-selling, Prime is being re-sold online and in some convenience stores for £20 plus, for one bottle…WHAT’S THE BEST SHOP IN WAKEY?

Let’s talk Prime Energy Hype
Anyway, the hype is real and the supply cannot keep up with the demand, so as any good businessman or woman would do with this information is…well…bring out another drink!
Prime Energy is the next installment in the Prime enterprise, and as it says on the tin, it’s an energy drink. The next big rival to Red Bull, and again, claiming to be a healthier alternative. Let’s fact-check that.
Prime Energy boasts 200mg of caffeine, 300mg of electrolytes, 0 sugar, 3 to 4g of carbohydrates, and only 10 calories, yes, 10!
Red Bull gives you 75mg of caffeine, 27g of sugar, 27g of carbohydrates, and 112 calories.
That’s quite a damning comparison to potentially the most famous energy drink of all time, Prime Energy blows Red Bull out of the water with nutrition stats. I could list all the stats on every energy drink out there but that would be boring, so I’ll summarise with this… If you’re wanting to choose an energy drink that’s better for your body, you’re better off with Prime inside you (if you can get it anywhere).
Prime Energy Flavours: What’s the Big Deal?
Now let’s talk flavours, I’m a big flavour man, if I’m honest, the classic energy drink taste, you know the one I’m talking about, the Jager bomb flavour….not good. Except in a Jager bomb.
I enjoy a good Monster, the variety of flavours is fantastic, and there’s something for everyone. This is something KSI and Logan have emulated and executed very well.
Blue Raspberry. Tropical Punch. Lemon Lime. Orange Mango. Strawberry Watermelon.
I like the range and I like the fact that you know what you’re getting, sometimes when I go for a Monster, I have to pick between White…and Lewis Hamilton flavour??
There are some repeat flavours from Prime Hydration and some new additions, adding Mango to Orange gives it another element, and Strawberry and Watermelon are a great combo. Consumers rave about Blue Raspberry, Lemon Lime, and Tropical Punch from the original lineup of Prime drinks, and I can only imagine adding carbonation could make them a hell of a lot nicer!
Imagine waking up on a Saturday morning in summer, knowing you’ve got a gym session at 10 AM, pouring a Tropical Punch into a glass with ice, and knocking it back for some pre-workout energy.
Prime Energy’s Packaging is Pretty Impressive, Too
I like the sound of that. Might be nice before a night out mixed with vod…I’ll stop there.
If you’re into design and marketing like me, I think you’ll really enjoy the packaging, it’s clean, simple, and will look fantastic on a shelf, standing out in a subtle way!
So all in all, it looks good, the nutritional stats are great, the flavours will probably taste great, and the packaging is really cool, but absolutely none of this actually matters…
It will sell out. Instantly. You won’t be able to get it anywhere. Because 2 of the biggest social media stars front it and that’s huge for advertising, when you think about it, they don’t need to do anything, they’ve already made 1 YouTube video together and that will be the most powerful advert ever created!
I’d very much like to try it, I like what KSI and Logan are doing, and I can see this being the biggest energy drink out there.
