Everything You Need To Know About UltraFlex Hull

Following a recent road trip, we simply had to tell you about UltraFlex Hull. The gym is owned by bodybuilder Charlie Mardon and is fast becoming one of the most talked about facilities not just in Hull, but across the wider fitness community.

Often the best gyms are designed and run by people who have actually spent a large chunk of their lives training – and that’s exactly why UltraFlex Hull is streets ahead of the competition.

UltraFlex Hull

The 5th gym in the UltraFlex chain, Charlie Mardon clearly used his experience to fill the space with equipment and amenities that just make sense.

Members can fine-tune their physique using top-quality equipment manufactured by the best brand names in the world, including Atlantis, Watson, Prime UIA, Hammer Strength, and Core Fitness.

You can be sure that UltraFlex can provide whatever type of physical training you seek. So, let’s take a look at what’s inside.

The Facilities

When talking about a gym’s facilities it may seem strange not to start with the equipment, but hear us out. Charlie has created a real one-stop aesthetics shop for members of UltraFlex Hull that goes far beyond the expectations of a normal gym. People can maintain their tan through winter or get bronzed ahead of upcoming competitions with stand-up sunbeds. If you’re looking for a fresh trim then you can also pop into the on-site barber shop.

The reception is well stocked with all the bits you’re going to need such as pre and post-workout and plenty of macro-boosting powders and snacks. Plus, there’s also a physiotherapist service to help you through any knocks or strains you pick up while pushing your body to its limit.

Now, let’s take a look at the gym itself. As soon as you walk into the gym you’ve got the functional rig which is equipped with punching bags, bars, balls and everything in between. If that doesn’t get you sweating, then the 25m prowler track made with top-quality astroturf sure will.

There’s a separate cardio room with StairMasters, treadmills, bikes and ellipticals to get your heart rate going. And if you fancy a different kind of challenge then why not try the strongman section, which features stones that weigh up to a whopping 150kg? Of course, UltraFlex Hull also has a huge array of free weights and all the machines the heart could desire for your standard training.
