Charlie could have just slapped some paint on the walls, got a manufacturer to sell him a package of all the leftover equipment and then patted himself on the back.
However, average simply isn’t a word in his vocabulary, and instead, he took on a no holds barred approach to fitting each base with brand new changing facilities, studio & treatment rooms and even their own barbershop.
One of the gyms to benefit from the drastic makeover was the Normanton site, which offers members the opportunity to fine-tune their physique using top-quality equipment manufactured by the best brand names in the world, including Atlantis, Watson, Prime UIA, Hammer Strength and Core Fitness.
So, let’s take a look at what all the fuss is about.
The Facilities
Whether you want a space to work on flexibility, build muscle strength or prepare for a bodybuilding competition, UltraFlex Normanton has it all.
Its vast array of equipment has been specially selected to make it suitable for those taking their first few baby steps in the gym and seasoned veterans of the workout world.
Split across two levels, many of the machines incorporate different settings and angles so that UltraFlex gym members can train using a variety of positions while targeting different tension points. No two training sessions need ever be the same. There is always something new to try or to add to training programs.
There are dedicated areas focusing on the chest, back, shoulders, arms, abs and legs where all the equipment is grouped together, so there’s no need to do that awkward waddle around the gym looking for your next bit of kit. It’s all about making your life easier and saving valuable training time.
Other equipment on offer includes specialist glute training machines, free weight equipment and powerlifting racks. Strong man equipment is available together with a large dumbbell area and calibrated weight plates.

UltraFlex Gym Normanton is open from 6am to 10pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 8pm on weekends, so you’ll have plenty of time to fit in a session around your busy schedule – no excuses!
