The Mayor of the city, Cllr Derek Green, cut the ribbon on the fresh space after delivering a short speech on Saturday, November 5.
F45 Winchester Members were then put through their paces with a workout that was soundtracked by a DJ pumping out pulse-raising tracks.
It has already been open and running classes for two weeks after holding a soft launch for members in October – who were all treated to a gift pack containing goodies such as a hat, water bottle, and towel at the official launch party.
Complimentary protein bars were on offer courtesy of Swedish health company NOCCO while London-based Fresh Fitness Food provided samples for attendees to taste.
Speaking to the Hampshire Chronicle, studio manager and long-term personal trainer Sam Gill, said: “The amount of people in Winchester that are aware of F45 is our biggest challenge right now. The first two weeks have been great and we’ve secured our foundation members, and now we’re just trying to reach out to the community and the launch party today is a big step towards that.
“At the heart of F45 is results. We’re all about the personal touch and creating an atmosphere where people can enjoy their workouts and enjoy their progress, too.
“For us as a team in Winchester, our job is to keep people engaged and keep that momentum, and then hopefully they are going to achieve great results because the workouts are fantastic.”

The gym started with a daily schedule of three classes during its soft launch but is planning to hold workouts more frequently as it attracts new members. That process started with the addition of a 9.30 am session which is new this week.
