It has been a whirlwind few days for Grace Beverley.
In true boss-lady fashion, her retro fitness apparel company TALA has announced a groundbreaking new collab with global sports brand FILA.
The range, which dropped on November 9, features a selection of vintage-style activewear made with recycled materials, including a remake of FILA’s trademark Interaction trainer.
For most, the move would represent the achievement of a lifetime. But for Grace, it was the second successful release in a matter of days.
Last week, SHREDDY launched the SHREDDER Protein Bar – the ultimate treat to help you achieve your protein goals.
Made with two irresistible layers of smooth vegan chocolate protein crispies, delicious, gooey centres, and containing 13g protein, up to 8g of fibre, and as little as 203 calories, Grace said the bars were released with a view to changing the market.
The protein content is sourced from a blend of soy protein, roasted peanut pieces, pea protein, and rice protein.
“Interestingly, we never wanted to make vegan protein bars,” she explained.
“But after trying the vegan protein bars on the market, hunting high and low for something truly delicious, that doesn’t taste of dirt, isn’t crammed full of rubbish and not finding ANYTHING, we sort of had to do something about it.”
And it certainly seems she has achieved her goal. In just 5 days SHREDDY sold a whopping 33,000 bars, with some even calling it “not just the best vegan protein bar out there, but the best protein bar full stop!”
In fact, over the past year, since being online and in-store at Superdrug, Grace has sold over 450,000 SHREDDY shakes and supplement drinks – which is unsurprising when you consider her inclusion on Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
Her newest creations come in three flavours: Gooey Salted Caramel, Chocolate Brownie Crunch, and Peanut Butter Cup.
Unsurprisingly the singular bars – which are priced at £2.50 – are currently sold out on the SHREDDY site.
However, each flavour is still available in a 15 pack. The boxes cost £28, meaning you save around 65p per bar, which scales up to roughly £9.75 difference if you were to buy the equivilent amount individually.
