These are exciting times for one of our go-to brands for comfy, stylish hoodies and gymwear, Gym+Coffee, as it’s just been announced that they’re now officially Ireland’s largest athleisure brand.
The news was shared by Shopify president Harley Finkelstein on his LinkedIn page, where he also commented on how hard the brand has worked to get there. Since they launched back in 2017 they’ve opened 7 retail stores and have recently celebrated hitting 1 million orders in Ireland alone.
In his LinkedIn post, Finkelstein writes, “This Milestone is a fervent reminder to: start that business you’re thinking about, and if you’ve started, keep going. You never know what you’ll accomplish.”
Of course, Gym+Coffee CEO and co-founder Niall Horgan has also had a few words to say about this incredible milestone. He’s also taken to LinkedIn, saying that he’s finding it hard to get his head around it, adding, “It’s been a rollercoaster journey since starting out with one product and no customers 7 years ago to where we are today. We’ve had some really challenging moments but to think there are almost 2 million Gym+Coffee products in circulation in Ireland is absolutely crazy!”
Now they’ve grown the business to this point, the folks behind Gym+Coffee are showing no signs of slowing down, with big plans in place for 2024. So watch this space to see what’s next for them.
