What Is the Gymshark Lifting Club?
In 2019, Gymshark broke the mould of what we thought an athleisure brand could be by throwing open the doors to the Gymshark Lifting Club.
At its core, the 20,000 sq ft, dimly lit industrial warehouse is a gym — and a very impressive one at that. But for the wider Gymshark community, it represents so much more.
Over the years, the Solihull-based space has become a hub for new connections, PBs, and innovation in the name of all things sweat-inducing.
Splashed with motivational slogans and pictures of trailblazing gym icons, the club is like the ultimate athlete’s playground.
From encouraging lifters to hit their one-rep max in the early days, to later evolving into a centre of excellence for hybrid athletes, the Gymshark Lifting Club is in a league of its own.
Kitted out with 13 Olympic-grade weightlifting platforms, a large outdoor yard, and enough equipment to swell every muscle fibre in your body, it’s been used for a number of high-profile activations.
British powerlifting records were smashed when the club hosted the Junior British Powerlifting Championships, while members flocked to open sessions during the brand’s Gymshark 66 challenge.
The Gymshark Lifting Club transcended the physical space. It created a legacy — a feeling that anyone was welcome. It didn’t matter whether you were a bodybuilder or a fitness novice just starting out.
As long as you loved training — and Gymshark — you were in. Naturally, the club needed a uniform to match, so Gymshark released bespoke GSLC merch with bold prints and an old-school, baggy-fit feel in signature colourways.

The Gymshark Lifting Club Collection 2.0
The latest Gymshark Lifting Club collection looks like it was plucked straight from a classic American coming-of-age film.
Bold varsity prints are matched with preppy-style colourways and contrast detailing for the ultimate vintage aesthetic. It’s your classic blend of off-whites, creams, navy blues, and emerald greens.
The drop — which looks to be huge — features muscle-hugging short-sleeve tees, stringer vests, compression base layers, hoodies, polos, and more.
There’s a real golden-era vibe to this one, and it’s very much in line with vintage sportswear’s recent resurgence into the spotlight.
They do say fashion is cyclical, after all. The Gymshark Lifting Club collection might not be as hyped as Onyx, but make no mistake — this drop is visually stunning, and it won’t be around for long.
When Is It Dropping?
Practically no one saw this one coming, which makes it all the more exciting. Gymshark did post an inside look at the Gymshark Lifting Club last week, complete with this drop’s slogan, “Welcome to the Club.”
That was pretty much the only Easter egg we got before the announcement yesterday. The Gymshark Lifting Club collection will be let loose on 29 May at 7pm BST.
