Everything You Need to Know About the Gymshark Loyalty Programme

The Gymshark Loyalty Programme has landed — here’s how to level up while you work out

Gymshark just dropped something new — and no, it’s not Onyx 6.0 (though we wouldn’t say no).

This time, it’s all about you.

The brand has launched its first-ever loyalty programme designed to actually reward fans for showing up — whether that’s repping your favourite fit, hitting personal bests, or just being part of the community.

Points, perks, early access? It’s giving well-earned recognition, and Gymshark’s finally making it official.

Here’s what you need to know.

What Is the Gymshark Loyalty Programme?

Successful brands build communities, not just a customer base — that’s fact. And in recent years we’ve seen a varied approach from the biggest of the bunch looking to foster a little buy-in.

Krissy Cela’s Oner Active just announced its first-ever Walk Club in six iconic cities worldwide. Puresport became a fashion label almost by accident through its run clubs and various activations.

The Gymshark Loyalty Programme Has Arrived

Plenty have opted for the loyalty programme route, too. Christian Guzman’s Alphalete just relaunched with plenty of added perks, including a similar points system that gives back to fans who show up by collecting every drop.

Gymshark’s mould is very similar, though there are a few different ways you can earn. At its core, the Gymshark Loyalty Programme is all about turning the work you put in — and the things you buy — into more.

And the more you show up, the more you’ll get. It works across a four-tier system governed by experience points — or XP — which sounds way cooler. Here’s what they look like:

Tier 1 (0–1,249 XP)

  • Birthday Reward
  • Anniversary Reward
  • Exclusive Offers
  • Early Access

Tier 2 (1,250–2,999 XP)

  • £10 Reward
  • All Tier 1 Benefits
  • Partnership Discounts
  • Priority Access

Tier 3 (3,000–4,999 XP)

  • £15 Reward
  • Tier 2 Benefits
  • Exclusive Access

Tier 4 (5,000+ XP)

  • £20 Reward
  • Tier 3 Benefits
  • Annual Member Reward

It’s already live and free to sign up, though some of the perks like early, exclusive, and priority access are launching soon.

Gymshark Loyalty Programme: How Can You Earn XP?

Earning XP isn’t just about going wild with your credit card — though spending money is obviously part of it. For every £1 spent on the website or Gymshark app, you’ll earn 10 XP.

Other ways to earn include signing up for texts and emails, and logging workouts through the Gymshark Training App.

Earning XP for working out? It’s like levelling up IRL. Level 99 quad strength: unlocked.

Gymshark has said it’ll be consistently updating the programme with new ways to earn and progressively overload your way through the tiers — plus new rewards.

If you sign up before 1 June, you’ll also get an extra 100 XP added to your account. Moving fast does have its benefits.

What Happens to Previous Orders?

If you’ve literally just spent a small fortune snagging Onyx — or any other Gymshark collection — and are feeling pretty hard done by, there’s good news.

Signing up to the Gymshark Loyalty Programme before 31 May will see any orders placed this year converted into XP.

What If You Return?

Unfortunately, returning your haul will see the XP deducted from your account. It’s a less-than-ideal feature, but one that’s necessary to stop people exploiting loopholes and trying to level up fast.

The Bottom Line

Gymshark CEO Ben Francis says the Gymshark Loyalty Programme is designed to give back to the fans who’ve contributed so much to its incredible growth.

Let’s not forget: this all started in his parents’ garage with a sewing machine and a big dream. And while this is undoubtedly a huge perk for people who regularly shop with Gymshark, it’s also a very clever way of keeping people more engaged with the brand than ever.

It’s the classic win–win scenario. If you want to join the Gymshark Loyalty Programme (and you should), head to Gymshark’s website to start getting more from your fits.
