True Geordie has been in the headlines a lot this week after a recent row with Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury and the spiral now continues with being branded a racist by media outlets, his community, and all others that he outraged with his comments.
In a recent apology video (below), True Geordie shows complete remorse especially towards his co-host Laurence Mckenna whose family is Muslim and claims that he is not racist, didn’t mean it how it was taken, and shouldn’t have said it at all. What hurt The True Geordie the most (real name Brian Davis) was how he had hurt Laurence’s family and also put him in a horrific spot yet again due to his words and actions.
Laurence who opened up on the apology video about his past stereotype issues claimed he should have jumped in at the point of the racist rant to stop Brian from going any further or to apologize more to the audience for what was being said.
The True Geordie is about to face the toughest moments in his life with the backlash of what he said with the world watching, Andrew Tate piling on the pressure for him to be canceled, a rocky podcast partner relationship and now the start of his sponsors releasing him from incredibly lucrative contracts. As we all know that once the first sponsor ends a contract the rest will now follow.
