Could Superfans Be About to Receive a Neutonic Gold Card?
James Smith and Chris Williamson’s Neutonic proved a near-instant hit after launching in November 2023.
In just 18 months, the influential duo generated over £7 million in sales, shifting more than three million cans of their “world-first” productivity drink across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and their own website.
That success caught the attention of heavyweight investors including Australian influencer Kayla Itsines, Grenade founder Alan Barratt, globetrotting online sensation Mike Thurston, and many more.
The star-studded panel pledged £2.7 million in a recent funding round, which Smith and Williamson are using to grow their team and product line, boost stock levels, and expand into new territories such as Australia and the UAE.
They haven’t wasted any time putting the cash to work.
Blue Raspberry was unveiled as the newest flavour of their caffeine- and nootropics-powered beverage late last month in a Breaking Bad-style drop.
Neutonic also partnered with the UK’s leading health and sports nutrition distributor, Tropicana Wholesale, for a nationwide gym rollout.
Now, the full-throttle brand has launched the Neutonic Gold Card. Here’s what it does — and how to get your hands on one.
Neutonic Gold Card: What You Need to Know
The Neutonic Gold Card is still in its early days. Much like the coveted Nando’s Black Card, it gives holders unlimited access to all the Neutonic they could possibly want.
For now, these VIP cards are reserved for those who invested in the company during its recent funding round.
“All our Neutonic investors should be receiving their Neutonic gold cards today,” Smith explained on social media.
“In my eyes, any investor should be able to have as much stock as they please.
“They certainly shouldn’t be buying it — so inspired by the infamous ‘Nando’s Black Card’ we decided to create a card that would give them unlimited Neutonic.”
The technology behind the sleek-looking Neutonic Gold Card is powered by VennCard, allowing the holder to simply tap it on a smartphone’s NFC scanner to open a free order window and request whatever they want, whenever they need it.
“The card can be multi-functional. To pull out at a meeting, to support them logistically in a Glastonbury toilet cubicle, or even to throw at someone in self-defence,” Smith joked, before revealing the Neutonic Gold Card might one day reach the brand’s most loyal fans.
“I’m also looking at creating cards like this to give to our best customers and most loyal fans,” he added.
“Something as simple as finding our ‘Number 1’ Neutonic customer and turning up at their house to hand them a gold card that gives them free Neutonic for the next 12 months.
“Perhaps that will be a MVP card, I’m not sure yet.”
