Jake Paul and Tommy Fury agree fresh fight date

There has been a fresh and exciting twist in the Jake Paul and Tommy Fury merry-go-round.

The third time is apparently the charm for the indecisive fighters as they have reportedly agreed to finally settle their differences on February 25 in Saudi Arabia.

Sources confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday that details about the specific venue, broadcast distribution and the number of rounds are due to be announced later this week.

Fury withdrew from the duo’s first scheduled bout in December 2021 because of an injury. The fight was rescheduled for August 2022 but Paul’s team pulled the plug after the Englishman and brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was refused entry into the US.

At the time, Jake Paul, 26, who boasts a record of 6-0, gave Fury the unfortunate nickname ‘Tommy Fumbles’ and said the chances of the fight being remade were slim.

However, he has continued to goad Fury since, with the pair exchanging heated words after Paul trolled Fury on the commentary during his clash with Paul Bamba.

Fury recently posted a video offering to fight Paul for free and give all the proceeds to charity, which may have been the catalyst that brought the Youtuber star-turned-prize-fighter back to the negotiating table.

With Fury himself boasting an 8-0 unbeaten record, there’s certainly a lot riding on this Jake Paul and Tommy Fury clash, for both fighters – should they make it to the ring, that is.
