Jimmy’s Iced Coffee Takes To The Skies

Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has announced a deal that will take its refreshing brew to new heights.

The Dorset-based brand will now be available to buy on all British Airways flights departing from Gatwick and Heathrow.

The Original bottles, which are made from a simple yet delicious blend of semi-skimmed milk, Arabica coffee, and unrefined Demerara sugar, are set to be added to the menu of the Speedbird Café.

This represents another huge step forward for the business, which is also now stocked in Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco, Budgens and a number of speciality stores and cafes across the UK and worldwide.

Each 275ml bottle contains 107 calories, 13.5g of sugar, and 6g of protein.

As the name suggests, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee was founded by none other than Jimmy Cregan.

A real passion project, Cregan fell in love with iced coffee while spending a year travelling in sunny Australia. However, when he returned to the UK he was frustrated at the quality of the iced coffees on offer, with most too sickly and sweet.

So, in 2011 he took it upon himself the right that wrong and he launched Jimmy’s Iced Coffee.

Alongside great-tasting coffee, it was Jimmy’s authenticity and fun nature that captured the hearts of his customers. Each bottle comes with an accompanying message of ‘keep your chin up’, so it’s more than the caffeine giving you a boost.

In fact, he was so keen to spread a little positivity that he turned his trademark phrase into a rap song. The song was accompanied by a music video which was filmed in his home county Dorset and was so popular Channel 4 even turned it into a commercial.
