Krissy Cela Shares Her Fantastic Barbell-Only Workout

If you’re looking to get a full-body workout in the most efficient way possible using just a barbell, then you need to check out Krissy Cela’s routine over on her YouTube channel.

Krissy’s in the process of moving from the UK to LA so has been squeezing her workouts in wherever and whenever she can as she figures out all the logistics of the big move. And one thing she’s found is that building a workout around one piece of equipment can be super effective.

For this particular workout Krissy uses a barbell but she explains that you can also do the moves with dumbbells if those are all you have, which is great if you want to follow along but don’t have a barbell set that you can use.

She starts the workout by warming up and then follows this routine:

  • Back Squat: 8-10 reps, 4 sets
  • Romanian Deadlifts: 8-10 reps, 4 sets
  • Bent Over Rows: 8-10 reps, 4 sets
  • Military Press: 8-10 reps, 4 sets
  • Single Arm T-Bar Kneeling Press: 8-10 reps, 4 sets
  • Single Leg Landmine Deadlifts: 8-10 reps, 4 sets

This deceptively simple 6-move workout really does work the whole body and is a great mix of compound and unilateral moves that’ll get your heartrate up and test your strength.
