YouTuber turned boxing sensation KSI has announced Joe Fournier as his next opponent.
The Brit is set to headline another crossover boxing event as he faces the undefeated professional fighter at Misfits & DAZN: X Series 007 in London on May 13.
Fournier represents KSI’s toughest test yet, but steps into the ring for the first time in two years. However, the 40-year-old has an impressive CV, even taking former world champion and close friend David Haye the distance in an exhibition fight.
KSI was last in action in January when he won the Misfits Cruiserweight title with a first-round knockout of FaZe Temper. And the popular figure remains confident he’ll continue his winning streak against Fournier, despite the step-up in quality.
He said: “He (Fournier) simply has the experience. He has way more experience than Tommy (Fury) or Jake (Paul). Even getting in the ring with David Haye just shows the level he’s at. The difference is, I’m KSI man, and KSI is like no other.
“Bro, it happens every single time. As soon as people enter the ring with me, they understand that they’re in hell. They’re in hell and they’re either leaving bruised, broken, or sleeping.”
The fight will take place at the OVO Arena Wembley and will be available to watch via DAZN.
