Love Island UK 2024 is moving to Majorca this summer, and all 12 contestants have settled in the villa.
Including recruitment manager Munveer Jabbal. Here’s what you need to know about the London-based budding influencer.
Who is Munveer Jabbal?
At 30, Munveer is the oldest in the 2024 Love Island line-up, and the Indian-British is thinking ‘seriously about the next step.’ He was born in Surbiton, Surrey, but he currently lives in Fulham, where he is a Tech recruitment manager and buddies with Spencer Morgan, son of celebrity TV presenter Piers Morgan.
While Munveer wasn’t much of a social media star before Love Island, he has an established career as a recruitment manager in the tech space. He is currently the Talent Recruiting manager at Bain & Company, even though he boasts a robust social life on the side.
So, after several attempts in the London dating pool, Munveer is leaving the player’s life behind and looking for his dream girl. He said Love Island was an ‘absolute no-brainer’ option for him, ”I need to start thinking seriously about the next step, and what better place?”
What to Expect from Munveer Jabbal?
From all indications, Munveer is no stranger to mingling with ladies. In fact, he is quite the pro.
In his intro video to Love Island, he revealed that he slept with three ladies in one day on a ‘lads’ holiday.’ Now, we don’t know where to put that on our list of raunchy males, but that statement took Munveer straight to the top.
One glance at his physique and you can conclude Munveer doesn’t miss gym duty. With his handsome South Asian-Indian looks and his undeniable charm, we can expect the ladies in the Majorca villa will be head over heels with Munveer.
But it won’t match with as much enthusiasm on his side. Munveer admitted to being picky with his partner–so he might be turning on the charm for the ladies, but he is definitely looking for his type.
And what will that be? Well, according to him, ‘nice hair, good teeth, and good chat.’ Not a long list; hopefully, Love Island will have someone who checks it completely.

While digging on the Love Island contestant, we uncovered a few fun things to note about Munveer. First, he doesn’t drink alcohol. Now, that’s great to hear. While he loves a good party, Munveer admits to being ‘booze-free.’ For him, alcohol could make you make bad decisions and ‘tend to go on the wild side’–straight out of the drawer from a career man!
Next, Munveer is practising Punjabi Sikh, which shouldn’t be surprising but, for some reason, is. He is British–born and bred–but he still stays true to his South Asian ancestry and culture.
And there’s stuff you won’t find on most of the tabloids, too. Like Munveer’s love for dogs and his friendship with Spencer Morgan, which he revealed involves a lot ‘about Arsenal.’
