Matt Morsia Huel: MattDoesFitness Signs Game-Changing Deal with Huel as New Sponsored Athlete
Fitness icon and Gladiators star Matt Morsia has announced his new sponsor – and it’s a big one.
The dad of two parted ways with MyProtein in February after an incredible 11-year stint with the brand.
His deal with the supplement giant was one of the key drivers behind him quitting his job as a teacher and pursuing a full-time career in the fitness space.
Matt exited MyProtein on good terms, teasing a big announcement when he revealed his plans to leave to fans.
The hint led to the 39-year-old being inundated with messages from impatient supporters keen to find out where he was taking his talents.
After months of waiting, we now know: Matt, or MattDoesFitness as he’s also known, has officially signed with Huel.

Matt went public on his deal with Huel on Wednesday, April 2. Sharing the news with his 1.2 million Instagram followers, he said:

Founded by Julian Hearn in 2015, Huel (a blend of the words “human fuel”) has seen a meteoric rise in popularity over the past few years.
Completely plant-based and fortified with 26 vitamins and minerals, the brand has carved out a niche by providing nutritionally complete meals in the form of shakes, powders, bars, and sachets, now available in over 100 countries worldwide.
British entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star, Stephen Bartlett, invested in the brand and spent time as a director, though he stepped down from his role earlier this year.

With two young children and a busy life as a content creator and business owner, Matt cited the brand’s convenient nutrition as a key factor behind the deal.
