Newcastle United FC has announced they’ve secured a multi-year sponsorship deal with energy drink giants, Monster.
Monster energy is one of the most popular energy drink brands in the world, with only RedBull ahead of them in market share, so this is a huge deal for Newcastle.
The deal is the first commercial partnership for the team since they appointed Peter Silverstone as their new Chief Commercial Officer and he had this to say about it:
“Newcastle United is on an exciting and ambitious journey to grow our global reach and fanbase. On this journey, we are eager to align with partners that share our global growth ambitions. Monster Energy is a brand that continues to enhance its global presence in the sporting world, and we are delighted to build this partnership and grow in new markets together.”
The sponsorship deal means that Monster will have a digital presence around St James’ Park as NUFC look to increase its commercial revenue.
With Silverstone’s track record at Arsenal, it’s looking likely that this will be the first of many big-name deals for Newcastle.
