MyOva Myoplus PCOS Supplement Review

The worst part of having PCOS is feeling like you’ve lost control of your own body. The symptoms, while not always overtly obvious to those around you, take a massive toll on your self-confidence.

After all, at 26 I didn’t think I’d be losing hair on my head and gaining it in other places.

Although my partner does his best to assure me that he can’t see any difference it’s not always easy to believe him, especially when I’m having to stand in the mirror plucking hairs from my chin.

That may sound like an overshare, but the harsh reality is that 1 in 10 women suffer from PCOS at some stage in their lives, and these are the real changes they’re having to compartmentalise every single day.

To be quite frank, it feels like my femininity and confidence are being slowly eroded.

The healthcare system offers little support unless your case is severe, as many of you reading this will have already discovered. Following a consultation and an ultrasound, all I received was a link to information I’d already read.

So, what are we to do?

In my mind, there are two options: the first, give up and succumb to a life of discomfort; the second, to self-manage your condition to the best of your ability.

If you, like me, prefer option two, then allow me to introduce you to Myoplus from MyOva

Myoplus is a comprehensive Myo-inositol combination supplement designed specifically for women with PCOS. In this article, I’m going to be looking at how it helped me manage my symptoms and why I believe it can do the same for you.

Unpacking The Formula

Every product promises to be the best thing since sliced bread and as consumers, we’re all acutely aware that the marketing department’s primary job is to sell us something.

That’s why I always start my reviews by stripping away all the hyperbole and unpacking the formula. That way, you’ve got all the raw data you need to make an informed decision.

The star performer in MyOva is without question Myo-inositol. In Layman’s terms, Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring sugar that’s part of the Vitamin B complex.

Women with PCOS often suffer from insulin resistance, which can lead to heightened insulin levels in the blood.

Such an occurrence is thought to be the root cause of symptoms such as hormonal imbalances, irregular menstrual cycles and increased androgen levels (male hormones). The latter is what’s causing my unwanted hair growth.

Myo-inositol realigns that insulin sensitivity, resulting in better blood sugar control and reduced insulin resistance. Some studies even suggest it may even help reduce the size and number of ovarian cysts.

Each serving supplies a 4000mg dose, bolstered by 200ug of Folate to enhance immunity and boost energy levels, as well as 100ug of Chromium to assist in curbing cravings.

Unlike other formulas, it’s worth noting that Myoplus doesn’t contain any D-chiro inositol.

Following extensive research, MyOva opted against including it as scientists found it may be largely ineffective and could even cause harm to women trying to conceive.

The Review

Now, I’m going to preface my review with an essential reminder that patience is a virtue. Much like doing a 10-minute ab workout won’t make you instantly toned, no product is going to magically solve all your symptoms at once.

I know better than anyone the desire for fast results, but you have to incorporate a bit of realism into your expectations, or else all you’re doing is setting yourself up for failure.

This piece has been a long time in the making. I followed MyOva’s recommendations and consistently supplemented Myoplus for 90 days, and do you know what? I’m so glad I did.

One of the first symptoms to subside was the bouts of random bloating. Nothing makes you feel less confident in your clothes than your stomach randomly ballooning, so I was thrilled to see the back of that.

Over time my energy levels also started to pick up and my menstrual cycle began to return to some form of normality, having been largely sporadic for the past two years.

As I’m using other hair supplements it’s hard to pin down the exact effect of Myoplus in that department, but I definitely feel like I’m getting less hairs come through on my face.

Overall, I’m pretty chuffed with the impact Myoplus has made in a relatively short timeframe. I’m genuinely excited to see where I’ll be in a few months.
