This is the part of the review the sceptics have been waiting for. As I mentioned earlier, convenience often comes at a price.
Could you make your own lunches for cheaper? Just about, but with the price of groceries going through the roof, there wouldn’t be much difference in cost.
The smallest bundle of seven meals costs £22.93, or £3.28 per meal when you include the first-time discount. But the more you buy, the cheaper it gets.
If you were to go all out and stock up on 38 dishes, you’d be paying just £2.41 per meal. I’d say you would be hard-pressed to make a meal containing more than 30g of protein for much less than that.
Like I said, it’s all about balance. I don’t mind paying less than what it would cost me to pick up a meal deal at a supermarket if it means I have a little more freedom in my day-to-day.
