My Honest Review of The Curators New Tajín Pork Puffs

Taste Testing The Curators’ New Tajín Pork Puffs — Could This Be the Start of Hot Snack Summer?

My love for The Curators’ Pork Puffs is no secret. I’ve given all four flavours glowing reviews in the past, and they’re still a regular feature in my protein rotation.

I’m also a total sucker for anything spicy and citrusy. So when The Curators teamed up with Mexican flavour giant Tajín for an unexpected (but very welcome) collab, I made it my mission to grab a bag, immediately.

I used code GYMFLUENCERSAGENCY for 20% off — naturally — and got stuck in. Here’s my honest review of the new Tajín Pork Puffs.

What Are Tajín Pork Puffs?

Before I get too far ahead of myself, let me quickly catch you up on what Pork Puffs actually are, and why this flavour collab is such a big deal.

Pork Puffs are one of The Curators’ best-sellers — and for good reason too, I might add. Think of them like crisps, but with no potato and a lot more function.

Instead of the nutrient-light spud, The Curators hot-flash premium pork rind until it’s airy and ridiculously crunchy.

The result is a snack packed with up to 19 g of natural protein, low in carbs, gluten‑free, keto‑friendly, and surprisingly moderate in fat.

All that goodness comes at the (very) minor cost of as little as 120 calories per bag.

Original Salted, Smoky Bacon, Cheese, and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar make up the core lineup.

But The Curators recently pulled a worldie of a collab out of left field, teaming up with Tajín for a limited-edition run of slightly sour, slightly spicy Pork Puffs.

Does the Taste Deliver?

Since I’ve already reviewed Pork Puffs in the past, I’ll spare you a repeat breakdown of the texture — which is, by the way, consistently great.

We’re going to get straight down to business. Do the Tajín Pork Puffs deliver what’s promised on the flavour front?

If you haven’t tried Tajín before, it’s a combination of mild chilli peppers, lime and salt that works great on just about anything that needs a flavour kick.

People often dust it over fruit or use it to rim cocktail glasses (especially spicy margaritas).

In theory, the pairing makes perfect sense. It echoes the classic Chicharrón combo — citrus, spice and pork.

Nevertheless, I approached the tasting with an open mind and a clean palate.

Did The Curators come through? Absolutely.

The balance of these Tajín Pork Puffs is just right. There’s a generous (but not overpowering) coating of Tajín.

You still get that savoury, meaty hit of the pork rind coming through. In fact, it’s the first flavour that lands, before a zingy procession of chilli, lime and salt throws a proper fiesta on your tongue.

Spice-wise, it’s totally manageable, even if you’re the “Lemon & Herb at Nando’s” type.

It’s a gentle warmth that only adds to the layers of flavour, rather than dominating the lot. In terms of taste, the Tajín Pork Puffs are bang on the money.

My only gripe is that they aren’t here to stay.

The Macros

It’s not all about flavour — these Tajín Pork Puffs are nutritionally sound, too. Each bag delivers 17g of protein, 1g of carbs, 6g of total fat and just 130 calories.

For a snack this tasty, I’m struggling to find a fault. That really irks me while writing a review, because very few things in this world are 10/10. But these Tajín Pork Puffs? As an overall package, they just might be.

The portion size is also solid. Unlike some crisps that leave you with a half-empty bag of disappointment, The Curators never short-change you.

Are They Worth It?

No review would be complete without weighing up value for money, and The Curators really show up in that regard.

You can grab 20 x 25g bags for just £19.99. That’s less than £1 per bag for a high-protein, flavour-packed snack that’s dressed in a globally loved seasoning blend.

As if things couldn’t get any better, you can save an extra 20% on your order with code GYMFLUENCERSAGENCY at checkout.

Run, don’t walk, to The Curators website. These Tajín Pork Puffs are legit — and they won’t be around for long.
