From college dropout to influencer extraordinaire, Rob Lipsett has taken another step in his incredible journey by buying his dream home in Marbella. Returning to the Spanish city after spending some time training and eating his way around America, the Dubliner gave a progress update on the villa which he has been spending the last few months building.
Speaking in a recent YouTube video, the author said the long-term project was “nearly there”.
“The walls are looking silky smooth,” he said. “Everything is plastered and painted. When things got painted I realised there was no construction or deconstruction left – we’re on the home straight.”
Rob has said he’s going for a “clean” look for the property, which will resemble one of the idyllic homes in Mykonos when finished. As part of that plan, he’s installed a whole heap of rustic touches which include a stone wall and pebbled flooring at the rear entrance.
“I don’t want a villa that’s just plain white walls,” he said. “I wanted some signature pieces.” He added: “It’s going to look wow.”
Miraculously, Rob revealed he has managed to stay within the 91,000 euro budget he set for the three-bedroom villa at the beginning of the transformation. Once the upstairs master bedroom and ensuite are completed, the influencer revealed he planned to move in while the remainder of the downstairs and pool area was finished.
“I just can’t wait to get in here,” he said. With a hot tub and drive-in garage the next projects on the list, who can blame him?
