School Child Suffers Cardiac Arrest After Drinking New Prime Energy Drink

School children have been warned against drinking KSI and Logan Paul’s new PRIME Energy drink

This comes after a child suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after consuming it. The unnamed youngster was reportedly rushed to hospital to have their stomach pumped.

Management at Milton Primary School in Newport, Wales, contacted parents following the incident. The message confirmed it took place last weekend and not on school grounds.

According to Wales Online, the text read: “This morning a parent has reported that their child has had a cardiac episode over the weekend after drinking a PRIME energy drink.

“The child had to have their stomach pumped and although better now the parent wanted us to share this as a reminder of the potential harmful effects.”

Initially released on January 4, PRIME Energy has recently been made available in supermarkets across the UK. The formula contains 140mg of caffeine, which coincides with the legal limit.

In comparison, an 8oz cup of coffee contains between 80 to 100mg.

It was released as an extension to the YouTube stars’ initial creation, PRIME Hydration, which has achieved cult-level status among fans.

PRIME’s website does say the energy drink shouldn’t be consumed by anyone under the age of 18. However, with a relatively young fanbase, many kids, and their parents, are ignoring that warning and remain desperate to get their hands on a can.
