In a move that we were not expecting Huel have launched a brand new line and this time it’s not a protein powder but a sustainable products brand which is set to disrupt the industry.
Huel
Huel was founded in 2014 by James Collier and is now one of the most recognisable health supplements in the world who produce meal replacements, protein powder, ready-to-drink protein shakes, instant meals and accessories.
Huel Wear
Many protein brands launch accessories where they simply brandish their logo on the chest and hope for sales. Huel have done the complete opposite and have actually taken on a giant industry that they felt were failing in many areas and have created a capsule wardrobe range which is seriously impressive.
Safety code failures, child labour abuse and poor quality garments have been called out by the Huel team and that’s what they are here to change by offering animal-free, cruelty-free and sustainable materials.
Looking at their video and the store we can see the current offerings are available for women, men, kids and accessories for all with garments including:
- Beanie hats
- Caps
- Joggers
- Hoodies
- T-Shirts
- Vests
- Leggings
- Jeans
So to really put this into perspective it’s not just an activewear brand but one that can be worn for all occasions. We love the logo branding on the high quality organic cotton and bamboo Huel beanies and the jeans made from water-saving organic cotton can be worn casually or dressed up with a clean white T-Shirt and over jacket.
Price
As soon as we saw what Huel Wear was offering we knew it wouldn’t be cheap but it is affordable. T-Shirts for £45 and joggers for £80 make it mid-high in the price brackets but when using sustainable materials, sourcing the best fabric, paying their labourers proper rates and putting this type of effort and investment into a brand we can safely say it’s worth it and will be massively respected in the industry. We are even ordering a couple of items right now to support the movement.
