You NEED to read this MYOM Oat Milk review to find out why TikTok is going mad for the perfect frothy lattes.
Let me start by saying this: I’m not a vegan, but my partner is. Despite her best efforts to drag me away from the dark side, I just can’t give up the things I love most.
However, her efforts haven’t been fruitless. I do make compromises, and one of those is only having plant milk in the house.
Making that switch didn’t come without its difficulties, though. As someone who was always a blue-top guy when it came to cow’s milk, I really struggled to get on board with watery supermarket plant alternatives.
So, when I saw people going mad on my TikTok For You page about MYOM’s Original Oat Blend, I knew it was something I had to try.
Using code GYMFLUENCERSAGENCY for free shipping, I grabbed the 500ml Starter Bundle and gave it a whirl.
Ladies and gentlemen, here it is: my MYOM Oat Milk review.
MYOM Oat Milk Review: First Impressions
I’ll keep it completely real—I didn’t know what to expect heading into this MYOM oat milk review.
I’ve been stung in the past by people raving about plant alternatives, claiming they’re better than the real thing, only to be left feeling seriously let down.
But I have to say, my first impressions of this product were really strong. You see, MYOM isn’t your standard oat milk.
Instead of coming in a carton, MYOM arrives in liquid pouches that are ready to mix with water. If, like me, you purchase the Starter Bundle, you also get a retro-looking glass bottle that reminds you of old-school milk deliveries.
Mixing it up was super simple. All you have to do is:
- Add 240ml of water into the bottle provided
- Squeeze in the MYOM Oat Blend
- Shake well for 30 seconds
- Top up with 200ml of water and shake again
I must admit, this is a really neat feature. We very rarely have cereal or porridge in my house, so it’s usually just coffees that we need milk for.
As you can typically only buy oat milk in huge, 1l cartons, half of it tends to go to waste before we’ve even had a chance to use it.
This way, we have just the right amount of milk for the week, kept cool and fresher for longer, without the pointless waste.
It’s also quite satisfying to cut down on all the excess packaging. The bottle is really easy to rinse out when you’re done, and you can shake yourself up another batch as soon as you need it. So far, so good in this MYOM oat milk review.
How Does It Taste?
Flavour has always been a big factor for me when it comes to plant milks. I want it to taste creamy—otherwise, I don’t see the point.
If it doesn’t deliver that silky texture, all you’re doing is changing the colour of your coffee. So, did it pass the test? I’m surprised to say it did, and with flying colours too.

For once, I could actually pick out the taste of the plant milk in my coffee. It was smooth, rich, and everything I’d been missing since begrudgingly making the switch.
Do I prefer it to standard milk? You know, I’d actually say I do. It’s creamy but with a subtle sweetness, too. And I was pleasantly surprised to see there’s no added sugar.
The sweetness I was detecting was nothing but the naturally occurring sugar from the oats. I hate to say it, but I think I’m officially converted.
What Are the Benefits of MYOM?
The environmental and logistical benefits of MYOM are clear to see—even for a sceptic like myself. Less packaging, less waste, and milk on tap whenever you need it.
Plus, the pouches are long-life, without so much as a smidgen of powder in sight, which is always a plus.
Aside from that, MYOM tastes great and is fortified with essential nutrients, including calcium, iodine, vitamin B12, and D3.
That’s another huge tick for me, as with other brands it often feels like you’re drinking glorified water.
Summing Up
Would I buy MYOM’s Original Blend again? Absolutely. I thoroughly enjoyed my journey through this MYOM oat milk review, and they’ve earned themselves a repeat customer.
For anyone curious, I’d strongly recommend nabbing the Starter Pack, as it sets you up with everything you need to try before fully committing.
It costs £12.99 and is available directly through MYOM’s website. Here’s a little sweetener to round things off: use code GYMFLUENCERSAGENCY for free shipping.
