Andrew Tate is no stranger to being in the news. Whether it’s about his new supplement brand, Fire Blood Supplement– which is unsurprisingly taking the internet by storm or his controversial statements on social media, Tate is known to garner the attention of the internet. Interestingly, that’s not all Tate is known for.
Not many names of combat sports athletes resonate with as much controversy as Tate. From his kickboxing days to being a controversial social media influencer, Tate’s story is one of setbacks and triumphs, and it is nothing short of controversial.
Andrew Tate was born on December 1, 1986, in Washington, D.C., He has been resilient from a young age. He began his kickboxing career at just 20 in 2007, amassing 76 wins in 85 fights over 13 years.
From strict training regimens to facing superior opponents, Tate embraced each obstacle with resolve. His notable victories include clinching the British light-heavyweight title and securing world honors in France, cementing his status in kickboxing.
In 2008, the International Sport Kickboxing Association ranked Tate as Britain’s seventh-best light heavyweight kickboxer. In 2009, he also ranked top in Europe’s cruiserweight division.
Tate took a bow from kickboxing in 2020, defeating Cosmin Lingurar at age 33. While the reason is still unknown, there are speculations it could be due to him having undergone several surgeries and sustaining eye injuries during his kickboxing career.
