We have drank a lot of energy drinks in our time and they are definitely the leading growth supplement in the health and fitness industry but there were a few Monster Energy flavours we had yet to try so we changed that!
Monster Energy
When looking at how many monster flavors are there currently across their full range of products we can count 32 but this is ever changing specially with new products being released almost monthly across energy drinks, hydration and now coffee. We have also seen many come and go with discontinued monster flavors including their random Java bean run and toffee coffee!
The most successful product is the monster ultra cans which provide all of the hit with 0 calories. This is obviously super important as it cuts out the none natural sugars and limits the calories going into our diet. The white ultra can is the most popular but we have stumbled across further versions which you need to try.
New Monster Energy Flavours
Monster energy flavors ranked was going to be a tough job so instead of doing the full range we found 3 new ones:
Monster Energy Ultra Gold
Inspired by Greek legend the Gold can was based around the nectar of Ambrosia which gave immortality to all that drank it. It’s strong pineapple taste, perfect amount of fizz and sour after taste really wakes up the taste buds. It promises to help you stay focussed no matter what life throws at you and for me personally I found it definitely helped wake me up on a very tired Tuesday afternoon.
We at Gymfluencers rate this monster energy flavours 8/10!
Ultra Watermelon
The summer is officially here thanks to Monsters Watermelon flavour! Super light, incredibly refreshing and with zero sugar it’s an all round winner. Easy to drink, packed full of caffeine and just 13kcal per can it’s the perfect go to for you.
I personally loved it but in the office some were not so keen labelling it as too sour which is certainly true but that comes down to your preference. I love sour, so that worked for me!
One thing is certain is that it’s not as nice as it’s competitor Reign Watermelon which is far more refreshing, lighter and has a more watered down but delicious taste. Overall a score of 6/10 from us!
Monster Espresso Salted Caramel
This sounds and looks delicious and as a curveball in this article it’s the ugly duckling as it’s coffee, contains calories and is not sugar free but it was new to us so we needed to include it.
The Monster Espresso is not for the faint (or should we say weak) hearted as it contains an insane 3 shots of espresso along with Monsters very own energy blend. For me this is total overkill and it doesn’t taste good at all. What could have been a delicious iced coffee with a tiny kick has turned into something that makes you think you can run through a brick wall but it tastes disgusting. Not smooth, not delicious, not enjoyable. It tastes like you are drinking fuel not coffee!
As for doing what it says on the tin, that it does! Nothing else on the market will give you energy like this but it comes at a price. For me, you might as well just chew on a raw coffee bean as that’s the flavour you get! This gets a rating of 2/10.
So there you have it our new Monster energy flavours that you need to try! New flavours, honest reviews and perhaps a new product or two that you have yet to try and now will or don’t have to. If you have any products you want Gymfluencers to review just drop us an email or tag us on IG!
