Warrior Isolate Protein Powder: Why it’s The Best For You

If you go onto Google and punch in the words ‘protein powder’ you’ll get 532,000,000 results with thousands of products to pick from. Warrior Isolate Protein Powder is superior in many ways, but that’s getting ahead of ourselves.

Of course, you know the top brands already. MyProtein, Optimum Nutrition and GHOST will most likely dominate your feed, but if you’re looking to switch it up and try something new then it can often feel like a bit of a minefield.

With so many options to pick from, how can you ever be safe in the knowledge that you’ve made a sound investment when you’re spending your hard earned cash on something you’ve never tried before?

After all, there’s nothing worse than being stuck with 2.5kg of lumpy powder that tastes like a mix of cheap sweetener and gone-off milk.

That’s where we come in. At Gymfluencers, we’ve been nobly slurping, crunching and chewing our way through the hottest emerging products on the market to give you our honest opinion on whether they’re worth the money or not.

Under the spotlight today is Warrior Fruity Clear Whey Isolate – a protein powder that takes a more colourful and unconventional approach to fuel your progress.

Warrior has a great track record of not only producing top-quality proteins but a whole host of supplements from diet bars and pre-workout to multivitamins and BCAAs. It also boasts a great range of fitness apparel which is becoming increasingly popular as the Warrior community grows.

So, without further ado, let’s get into it.

The Warrior Ethos

The warrior ethos

Before we get to the main event, allow me to give you a little bit of background about Warrior and the product. Warrior was created with a single purpose in mind – a single, solitary goal. To bring to market the best sports supplements in the world, and improve the athletic performance of those who consume them.

The brand wants to help those dedicated athletes who leave everything on the battlefield and strive with each training session to become the best that they can be. And it’s that ethos that led to the creation of Warrior Isolate.

Everything from the Warrior protein bar to other Warrior products were designed with this very ethos.

Warrior Isolate was designed to offer a fruity and new twist for when you want a rapid-digesting protein hit without the bloat and in a nice, easy-to-drink refreshing fruity taste. Warrior Isolate is made from the purest isolate whey source available with incredible macros to boot, so it makes the perfect addition to your diet.

Each 25g serving contains almost zero carbs (0.25g), zero sugar, less than half a gram of fat and more than 22.5g of protein. Plus, it comes in 4 juicy flavours: Blue Raspberry, Sour Apple, Pineapple and Fruit Punch.

The Warrior Isolate Protein Powder Review

Warrior isolate review

There’s a lot to like about this product, so let me start with the taste. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick to death of drinking Chocolate protein powders and slight variations such as Chocolate Brownie which, let’s face it, are virtually no difference at all.

The stodgy chocolate coating just makes me want to vomit, especially after I’ve just spent more than an hour in the gym putting my body through hell.

I picked Sour Apple because I thought it would help cut through post-workout nausea, and boy did it. Warrior Isolate Protein Powder gives you the enjoyment of drinking a slushy at the cinema but without the itching feeling of guilt in the back of your brain. It was a true delight.

Next up, we have the macros. Now, I’ve already taken you through the numbers so I’m not going to bore you with them again, but if it’s just a pure protein hit that you’re after then you’ll struggle to find another product as devoid of fat and sugar as Warrior Isolate. It would be the perfect tool to boost your protein intake at the end of the day without ruining the balance of everything else.

Finally, we have the price. A 500g pouch that provided 20 servings cost me just £24.95, which works out at around £1.25 per shake. In my eyes that’s an absolute steal, especially considering how easy it is to chuck a scoop into 150-250ml of water.

I also want to give a nod to the branding, which I thought looked insane. It’s nice to see a company put effort into its design rather than doing the bare minimum.
