Popular YouTuber and Viber, Zane Hijazi, in a recent YouTube video, shared how he battled with depression due to his weight and his weight loss journey. Well-known for sharing funny videos alongside his friend Heath Hussar, Zane has amassed a huge following on his social media handles, with his YouTube channel having over 3.5 million subscribers.
In the recently shared video, Zane disclosed how he used to be fat and had a 60-year-old body before his transformation. While people thought he was happy, he was actually depressed. However, he masked his feelings and depression with his comedic side, shifting the focus to his videos and not him. Thankfully, he decided to make a positive change in his life, even though it was the hardest thing he had ever done.
Zane started the journey with his friend Heath because they had similar stories; they were both out of shape and hurting. Zane and Heath encouraged each other until he got tired after about two months. As a result, Heath gave up on him and left him. However, he decided to try the transformation again when he became overly anxious and was at his lowest.
The first day was tough for Zane as he was put through boxing, and by the third day, he found it hard to walk. While Zane was doing amazingly well, he had one problem: he couldn’t stop eating sugar.
After a month, there were noticeable changes. Zane’s focus and determination paid off eventually and he was able to achieve his fitness goals. Today, he no longer struggles to keep fit as it has now become a part of his life.
The YouTube video revealed that he was able to reach an astonishing 9.7% body fat, showing how Zane’s hard work, consistency, grit, and discipline eventually paid off.
