It’s a roundabout journey for Ciaran Davies, who has chosen Love Island Villa for his next big challenge. Surveyor, rugby player, and now Love Island contestant–Ciaran is one very interesting character.

Ciaran Davies Age
Ciaran is a 21-year-old surveyor from Pencoed in southern Wales. He is the youngest in this year’s Love Island line-up, and at 21, you might be thinking he’s still in the ‘playboy’ years, but that’s all wrong.
Davies feels like he’s at the perfect age to get something serious going, and he’s holding out for the right girl in Majorca. Well, you’d expect that if you knew he’s been with only older women in his adult life.
Now, the big question is why a charming, athletic (we’d get to the rugby part in a bit!) Welshman is opting for reality TV to get his dream girl. In Ciaran’s defence, dating in his area ‘is so hard because it’s small and everyone knows each other or is someone’s ex. That makes for a pretty messy dating pool.
What to Expect from Ciaran Davies in Love Island
A lot, actually, and for starters, have you seen his physique? Ciaran plays rugby locally and is a surveyor, and Ciaran Davies’s 6’5 height is more than enough proof. In fact, he broke his collarbone in a rugby game the day he found out he would be going to Love Island. That definitely affected his season (and the gym plans for Love Island), but he’s all good and ready to go now.
In his opinion, Ciaran thinks his beard, height (sure), and Welsh accent will be his best attributes in the Spanish villa. Some sources described him as ‘gorgeous with a fit athletic build that will send girls in the villa wild.’ He also fits the ‘take home to mama’ card, as most people agree he is like the ‘sweet boy next door.’
What does Ciaran Davies want in a partner?
Ciaran is holding out for ‘the right girl’ in Spain, and he does have specs–it’s not a long checklist, though.
A great sense of humour is obviously a big deal for Ciaran–he’s a ‘bit of a wind-up,’ so he wanted someone who could match the energy. Great looks are also top on the list, even as Ciaran thinks loyalty is the ‘most important thing to look for in a relationship.’
Ciaran does have a thing for older women, too. He stated he was with a 42-year-old when he was 18!
Any Connections between Ciaran and Liam Reardon?
We don’t know of any, except for one of Ciaran’s escapades at Malia. He pretended to be the Love Island series 7 winner at a club while on a boys-only holiday (they are both Welsh), and it worked. They even ended up with free drinks and a private booth all night.
Ciaran has also mentioned celebrities he would love to spend time with in the villa. Madison Beer, David Attenborough, and Justin Bieber are favourites of the youngest Love Island contestant this year.
