Step Inside RT Fit, Ryan Terry’s Very Own Gym

We’re breaking down what you’ll find inside RT Fit, Ryan Terry’s gym packed with serious kit, recovery tools, classes and more.

IFBB professional Ryan Terry is an internationally recognised Men’s Physique competitor who clearly knows his way around a gym.

He was the first ever IFBB Men’s Physique Pro from the UK, and has gone on to win major titles including the Arnold Classic Pro, multiple IFBB Pro shows and the Men’s Physique Mr Olympia.

So when Ryan opens his own gym, you already know it’s going to be built with proper training in mind.

Inside RT Fit

Ryan recently gave a full tour of RT Fit on YouTube, showing how much the gym has grown since it first opened.

RT Fit has now been open for around two and a half years, and in that time Ryan has added more equipment, upgraded machines and kept tweaking the space based on what members actually use.

That’s one of the best things about RT Fit. It hasn’t just been built and left alone. Ryan listens to feedback, looks at which machines people aren’t really using, and then replaces or upgrades kit to make the gym better.

The main gym floor was designed around Ryan’s own prep-style training, so each muscle group has its own section. There’s a serious strength set up, dumbbells running from 2kg to 80kg, cardio kit including stairmasters and treadmills, and a 15m sled track that’s become one of the most used areas of the gym.

He’s also paid a lot of attention to the lighting, with as much natural light as possible across the gym floor. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference when you’re training, filming content or just trying to feel good in the space.

More than just a bodybuilding gym

When RT Fit first opened, Ryan originally had a hardcore bodybuilding gym in mind. But after being convinced to add in a studio, he’s now glad he did, because the classes have become seriously popular.

RT Fit now runs everything from Bounce and HIIT to yoga and spin, making the gym so much more than just weights and machines.

The facility also includes a café serving fresh meals and snacks throughout the day, a seminar room, treatment rooms, aesthetics services, hair and nail services, and a dedicated posing room where athletes and bodybuilders can practise, refine and showcase their physique with confidence.

Recovery, posing and opening times

The recovery suite is another big part of RT Fit, with muscle guns, an ice bath and an infrared sauna. Members can book it for an hour, and then it’s deep cleaned before the next person comes in, so you can properly relax when you’re in there.

RT Fit is open Monday to Friday from 5.30am to 10pm, Saturday from 6am to 8pm, and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

RT Fit clearly has Ryan Terry’s training mindset behind it, but it’s also grown into a full fitness space with something for every kind of member.
