Following an initial teaser, Applied Nutrition has officially brought its top-rated Critical Whey Protein to the US.
The brand’s flagship protein powder is now available to Stateside fans via AN Supps – Applied’s dedicated North American division – and 250 Meijer stores across the Midwest.
Already stocked in more than 85 countries, Critical Whey has long been a jewel in Applied’s sizeable European range.
Despite the brand’s existing presence in the US through products like ABE Whey ISO and Hybrid Protein, Critical Whey had notably been absent from American shelves — until now.

For the launch, Applied Nutrition has unveiled two flavours in collaboration with Chiquita: Banana Chocolate and Banana Strawberry, both available in 17-serving tubs.
Larger containers in standard flavours such as Brownie Batter, Cookies ‘N’ Cream, and Vanilla Ice Cream are expected to follow.
Critical Whey Protein: The Key Stats
The US version carries the same formula as the original, which is well-known and loved among consumers in Europe.
Each tub features a blend of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate sourced from grass-fed dairy, delivering 24g of protein per serving and 3g of carbohydrates for only 130 calories.
The powder mixes smoothly, holds Informed Protein certification for added confidence, and is versatile enough for post-workout shakes and smoothies or for mixing into more creative recipes.
AN Supps’ Critical Whey Protein is priced at $29.99 – a competitive entry point that reflects the value the product has built its reputation around elsewhere in the world.
