You might remember a few months ago we told you that Calfreezy was taking on the 75 Hard Challenge, a bit of a beast of a challenge designed to push you both mentally and physically. Well we’re psyched to report that the guy has only gone and completed it!
So, what’s the deal with the 75 Hard Challenge, you ask? Well, let me break it down for you – it’s no walk in the park, let me tell you!
The challenge, created by Andy Frisella, comes with five simple but seriously tough rules:
- Work out for 45 minutes twice a day, with one of those sessions being outside.
- Stick to a strict diet without any cheat meals or booze.
- Drink a gallon of water daily.
- Read ten pages of a non-fiction book every single day.
- Snap a progress pic of yourself daily.
Calfreezy documented his whole journey on YouTube, giving us a sneak peek into his daily grind. He got pretty serious about running during the challenge, especially since one of those workouts needed to be done outdoors. He also monitored his progress with fitness tests at the start of the challenge and kept himself going with supplements, like cod liver oil and HMN24 Rise.
When he got to the end of the challenge, Calfreezy went back and retook the fitness tests he took at the start, and guess what? He dropped a cool 5% of body fat, and his cardio health got a major boost. While the 75 Hard Challenge wasn’t only about a body makeover, there’s no denying that Calfreezy emerged from it looking strong, both inside and out.
