Eddie Hall vs Tommy Fury: The Shocking Mismatch Between World’s Strongest Man and Former Love Islander

Dubbed “Beauty vs The Beast”, Eddie Hall vs Tommy Fury is set for 13 June, 2026 as Misfits Boxing returns to Manchester.

Yet, despite Hall’s enormous stature, it’s former Love Islander Fury who pundits are backing to come out on top.

But why? Let’s take a look at the stats.

Eddie Hall vs Tommy Fury: Size vs Skill

On paper, former World’s Strongest Man and previous deadlift world record holder Eddie Hall should be the clear favourite for this fight.

How can you write off someone who hoisted half a tonne with blood running down their face?

And the weight difference between the two fighters is stark: Eddie Hall has tipped the scales at 152kg, while Fury weighed in at just under 90kg ahead of his last bout.

But experience counts for a lot in boxing. Fury boasts an unblemished 11-0 record, with four knockouts to his name, including wins over Jake Paul and KSI.

By contrast, Hall has just one professional boxing fight under his belt – a defeat to Strongman rival Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson.

Plus, 26-year-old Tommy definitely has age on his side. You’d expect him to be fitter, more nimble, and more athletic than Hall, 38.

So, while the mismatched weight stats might have some people lifting Hall’s arm aloft already, this bout is likely to pit Fury’s unbeaten boxing skill against Eddie’s immense size and power. Write either fighter off at your peril.
