It’s official Emma Raducanu has won the Sports Personality Of The Year 2021 after an incredible year where she became the first woman to win a Grand Slam since 1977, Win the US Open and make it far in Wimbledon. She also did this by never dropping a single set in the US Open. Emma Raducanu also won $2.5Million for winning the US Open.
When receiving her SPOTY award she said “I’m happy for British tennis as well, and that we’ve managed to get this award…again”.
Tom Daley was the runner up whilst Adam Peaty came in third.
