First-Ever HYROX Cruise to Set Sale in 2026

HYROX Cruise Sets Sail in 2026 With Stops in Barcelona and Marseille

HYROX hysteria has already swept nearly every continent across the globe.

The fast-rising functional fitness race recently surpassed 10,000 affiliated Training Clubs, doubling its tally since December last year and snapping at the heels of CrossFit.

With almost every inch of the globe soon to be inhabited by hybrid athletes, the booming sport is setting its sights on the next frontier: the seven seas.

In what’s an early contender for a ‘that wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card’ moment, the first-ever HYROX Cruise has been announced ahead of the New Year.

Here’s everything we know so far about this unique addition to the 2026/27 HYROX calendar.

What is the HYROX Cruise?

The inaugural HYROX Cruise is the brainchild of HYROX Experiences — a new venture from HYROX World GmbH.

Just as the global race calendar allows athletes to drink in different cultures while competing, the goal of this events-focussed offshoot is to take things a step further by delivering “experiential travel to the fitness world.”

The HYROX Cruise will be joined by soon-to-launch resorts and camps, blending elite-level training with tailored nutrition, recovery and stunning settings.

So, what exactly can attendees expect?

The HYROX Cruise has been billed as a “unique journey where fitness, adventure, and luxury come together on the open sea.”

Open to HYROX enthusiasts of all levels, guests can train with top coaches, gobble up hybrid pearls of wisdom through exclusive panel talks, and watch a HYROX race in a setting like no other.

Beyond the workouts, boarders will be able to relax on sun decks, enjoy gourmet cuisine, unwind in the spa and wellness areas, and test their sea legs with a tipple or two at one of several “epic parties.”

When Does the HYROX Cruise Set Sale?

This adults-only 4-day cruise takes place aboard Mein Schiff 4 — a TUI Cruises ship — departing from Palma de Mallorca on 21 October 2026, and returning on 25 October 2026.

The itinerary features iconic European destinations, including stops in Marseille and Barcelona.

Described as a “modern and elegant cruise ship”, the Mein Schiff 4 has a passenger capacity of 2,506 guests, with 1,253 cabins across 15 decks.

The luxurious vessel also boasts nine restaurants and bistros, 15 bars and lounges, a theatre, and a spacious pool area on the top deck.

There’s also an outdoor jogging track, which will almost certainly transform into a space for burpee broad jumps, sprints, and Farmer’s Carries during the HYROX Cruise.

Where to Book

Early booking for the debut HYROX Cruise will be available to everyone signed up for the HYROX Experiences newsletter.

However, as you might expect, prices aren’t cheap. An inside cabin sleeping up to two people starts at €2,599.

Group options are also available, as are suites, which would set you back €4,499.

The HYROX Cruise has drawn a mixed reaction from fans. Some adore the concept, while others say it’s more about money than the sport itself.

However, it’s worth noting the concept of fitness cruising isn’t new. CrossFit enthusiasts embarked on a similar active jolly around the Caribbean with the unaffiliated WOD on the Waves.

Given the staggering participation numbers and even greater interest on social media, it was only a matter of time before the HYROX experience expanded beyond gyms and warehouse racetracks.

Whether the HYROX Cruise becomes the must-attend event of the year or a niche experiment, it’s clear the brand isn’t afraid to push boundaries — and that’s exactly what has kept its global fanbase growing from day one.
