What’s Inside the 2025 Grenade Bar Advent Calendar
Several sports nutrition giants have kicked off the festive season early this year.
Michael Bublé hasn’t even been defrosted, and Mariah Carey is yet to hit her first note, but that hasn’t stopped brands unveiling their annual advent calendars.
Myprotein was among the first to reveal its functional twist on the classic countdown — a mix of vitamins, protein snacks, supplements, and accessories from its many offshoots filling the 25 windows.
But if it’s strictly protein you’re after, few do it better than Grenade. The Grenade Bar Advent Calendar has become legendary among gym-goers.
It’s arguably one of the most hotly anticipated parts of the Christmas season for those who value gains over gorging on sweets.
Right on cue, the brand has dropped hints that 2025’s edition is on its way. Here’s what we know so far.
2025’s Grenade Bar Advent Calendar
Priced at £55, the Grenade Bar Advent Calendar comes with 24 windows, each hiding a surprise flavour of the brand’s top-rated protein bars.
The most noticeable change? The price has jumped £20 from 2024’s version. Last year, Grenade reduced most bars to 35g instead of the usual 60g, with only the Christmas Eve window featuring a full-size serving.
This year’s price hike could well indicate a return to 60g bars across the board — a move that would no doubt delight fans.
As for flavours, you can expect heavy hitters like Oreo, Fudged Up, and Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel to make an appearance.
With 24 windows to cover and only a dozen or so flavours in the mix, repeats are inevitable — so expect to run into some of your favourites more than once.
Grenade’s teaser also suggests that QR codes will be included, giving fans the chance to scan and win a free gift. These are split into Santa’s “naughty” and “nice” lists.
Open a naughty window, and you may be set a random challenge — anything from a workout move to a handstand attempt.
A product page for the Grenade Bar Advent Calendar has already gone live on the brand’s website. Combined with today’s teaser on Instagram, this points to a presale launch very soon.
As always, moving fast is recommended — snapping up Grenade’s advent calendar is often as tricky as catching Father Christmas in the act.
